PARISH COUNCIL:
Parking - Orchard Close: Highways authority had recommended double yellow lines in the access to the Close, these would also extend into New Street to maintain clear visibility.
Playground Equipment: Work will be completed as soon as possible to repair the swings, supplier has now been contacted.
Chestnut Tree: Maintenance/safety work has now been completed.
Potholes: Highways Authority would be contacted again, previous areas reported had not been repaired.
School Lane: Weeds would be cleared along the wall. Weed killing programmes have only been done in the main towns for the past two years.
Horse Manure-Footpaths: British Horse Society had advised that horses should not be ridden on the footpaths.
Sewage-Back Lane: Following an inspection by the Environmental Health Department in September. Environment Agency will be investigating.
Visibility-B4035: Highways Agency will be dealing with the problem.
Street Signs: A survey has been carried out by Wychavon, where necessary damaged signs will be replaced.
WCC-Gulley Survey: Information was gathered and forwarded to the county as requested. All blocked drains were marked and areas of flooding noted.
Upper End Court: Following consultation with WDC, Number 1 and 2 Upper End Court will now be known as 73 and 73a Main Street, these two properties front Main Street.
Dept of Health - new health authority: Latest information on reforming the NHS will be circulated.
Footpaths and Bridleways: Most of the footpaths and bridleways are now open in Worcestershire.
Planning Application: Vicarage Nurseries: Proposed first floor offices and refrigerating cold room extension (part of application is retrospective).
IDS Transport (UK) - application for operators licence: Following discussion it was decided to write to the traffic commissioners.
Footpath 12: Complaint had been received on the condition of the stile and access obstructed by conifer trees. Matter would be referred to county footpath officer.
Street lights: Faulty lights were reported in Main Street on Manor building. Ivy Lane, Station Road and Stoneford Lane.
Posts - Station Road and The Cross: Several posts need reinstating and repairing. The next meeting will be held on November 12 in the Memorial Hall at 7.15pm with open forum.
