AN associate minister will have a homecoming of sorts when she takes up her new post in Salford Priors.
Rev Lynne Davies, aged 57, who has lived in the village for 32 years, will be joining the parish as an associate minister to work alongside the Rev Steve Tash at St Matthew's Church. She will also operate at churches in the parishes of Wixford, Exhall, Binton and Temple Grafton.
Lynne, from Garrard Close, who until recently was serving as a curate in the parish of Snitterfield and Bearley, was licensed at St Matthew's on October 3, by the Bishop of Warwick, the Rt Rev Anthony Priddis.
"Coming back is always a little strange and it certainly will be a challenge, but Steve is a wonderful man and I am looking forward to working with him," she said.
