A RONKSWOOD Hospital worker is looking for kind-hearted people to help his charity appeal.
John Worthington raised £125 at a recent sale in aid of cancer research, but so many books, records and items of bric-a-bric were left over that he planned another sale at the hospital's social club.
However, the site is closing later this year and he has been told the sale can not go ahead.
"I had a great response for my last appeal, but now I've got masses of books, about 400 records and bric-a-brac left," he said.
"Because of the closure I'll have no storage space for all the goods. I'm hoping someone may be able to buy some of the items for this appeal before time runs out."
Mr Worthington has also organised prize draws with fellow worker Denise Sherwood at four hospital sites to add to his total.
"Nearly every person knows someone whose life has been affected by cancer," he added.
"It would be great if the money could be used to help provide a scheme such as a possible support group for cancer sufferers and their families in Worcester."
Anyone who may be able to help him with his unsold items can contact him on 07946 712715.
