THE Remembrance Day Parade on Sunday, November 11, begins at 2pm when members of the local branch of The Royal British Legion will assemble at the village hall car park. Members will then march at 2.15pm for the Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial at 2.30pm, followed by the service in St James' Church. The preacher at the church service will be Canon John Champion, the county chaplain of The Royal British Legion. Following the service refreshments will be served at The Old Bush, Callow End.
A calendar for 2002 containing old photographs of Callow End is available, priced £4, from Mr & Mrs Peter Harris of 1 Bow Hill, Callow End, or from members of the village hall committee. All profits are in aid of Callow End Village Hall.
