SHEILA Sumner has retired after 20 years as Manor Park tennis treasurer.
At the recent tennis annual general meeting she reported that she was pleased to leave the club in such a healthy position, with 52 new senior members and an explosion of junior membership in the new mini membership category.
She then wished the tennis section and her new successor, Professor Joe Riley, every success in the future.
She was presented with a framed picture of the club and has been offered honorary membership.
