A 20-year-old Callow End man was caught driving while more than twice the legal alcohol limit.
Nicholas O'Dwyer was pulled over by police driving his Vauxhall Cavalier in Hylton Road, Worcester, on Friday, October 19, Droitwich magistrates heard.
After a positive roadside breath test, he was arrested. Another test at the police station showed 75mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. The legal limit is 35mgc.
O'Dwyer, who was unrepresented, admitted the charge and said he should not have done it.
He was fined £100 and disqualified for two years, or 18 months if he completes an alcohol awareness course.
