A NEW mobile library serving the Malvern Hills has been unveiled as part of Worcestershire County Council's efforts to update its fleet.
Malvern librarian Keith Barber said the new facility offers a better standard of comfort, was brighter and more eye-catching and had much better access with a wider door and a tailgate lift, making it easier to use.
It also has the capacity to house computers and offer internet access in the future.
The county council has a fleet of five mobile libraries and another one as cover. It is carrying out the update through a mixture of new-buy and total refurbishment.
Details of the mobile library's visiting times to different parts of the district are available from Malvern Library.
