MALVERN Baptist Church enjoyed a record Harvest Festival, which will benefit people thousands of miles away.
The church's harvest festival service raised £1,700, which will be donated to the Luanda Baptist Church, in Angola, to go towards building a new clinic and school attached to the church.
"We believe it's a worthwhile project as many in Angola have lost limbs from landmine tragedies," said Malvern minister, the Rev. Ian Green, "Also, according to the United Nations, Angola is the worst country in the world in which to grow up as a child."
