AGE Concern in Malvern is gearing up to bring a little Christmas cheer to people living alone or who have difficulty preparing a meal.
The organisation is planning to serve a traditional lunch on Christmas Day at Storer Court, in Barnards Green, and Alexander Gardens, in Malvern Link.
The charity's Malvern and district branch is being supported by Elgar Housing Association in the initiative.
There will be a reception at noon, followed by lunch at 12.30pm, with tea and mince pies in the lounge.
The cost is £3.85 and applications should be made before November 30, on 01684 560120 for Storer Court or 01684 892839 for Alexander Gardens. Transport may be arranged where there is a need.
Volunteers are also needed to help with the initiative, either with serving or transport.
