TOWN travelled to top of the table Forest Falcons for this WFA County Cup first round match.
Falcons took the lead after only four minutes, some slack defending resulting in Falcons scoring after an unopposed run at goal.

Falcons won 4-3 on penalties
Town drew level soon after when the hard working Tom Griffiths rolled the ball into Luke Marshall's path for him to score.
The second half started with Town on top and gaining corner after corner. They had Falcons on the rack, but couldn't convert their pressure into goals. They had the ball in the net but a foul on the keeper meant the effort was disallowed.
Falcons were dangerous on the break and were unlucky not to take the lead when a vicious shot beat the keeper only to hit the inside of the post and come back out.
As the game went into extra time Town began by making the entire running and should have converted at least one of the many chances. James Badham and Jamie Thomas both came close to scoring, on each occasion Falcons managed to clear the ball off their line.
No score resulted in penalties, with both sides missing one each, it was down to the final penalty takers. Falcons convincingly converted theirs and Town were unable to match that.
Town are improving and both full backs Ben Jones and Joel Skyers had a great match to share the man of the match award.
