KEYZ RM threw away another three points this week in the Worcester & District Football League Sunday Division Three.
ABBERLEY 3, KEYZ RM 2
Keyz as normal started well and were 1-0 up after only one minute when skipper Tim Clarke converted a penalty. Only 13 minutes on the clock and Keyz were 2-0 up through new signing Matt Brookes.
Abberley hit back straight away scoring on 15 minutes. With 35 minutes gone the match was delayed for seven minutes when home striker Andy Holmes was carried off with a suspected broken ankle.
Abberley made the match all level on 40 minutes, it stayed 2-2 until the 74th minute when Abberley scored the winning goal.
Both sides had opportunities to score but Abberley missed some very easy chances in the last five minutes and could have won by three or four goals.
Keyz RM man of the match was Eddie Stimson with Martin Wilson a very close second.
On Sunday Keyz are away to HAD Reserves in the Sunday Minor Cup (round two). HAD play at Bromsgrove, players to meet at RSRE Club at 9am, do not be late.
