A JEALOUS ex who branded her teenage love rival "a fat midget" during a three-month harassment campaign has been warned to keep the peace.
Droitwich magistrates bound Emma McCartney over in the sum of £250 after they heard she had spent three months hassling her ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend.
Doreece Gunter, prosecuting, said the 15-year-old had started seeing McCartney's lover Carl Beckley behind her back.
But it took until the end of June for McCartney to discover the 21-year-old was two-timing her.
"Since then, there have been a number of problems and police have been called to deal with a number of incidents relating to the triangle," Miss Gunter said.
"On August 18, the 15-year-old was in Worcester with her brother and a friend when she realised the defendant was walking behind her.
"Because of previous incidents, she decided to ignore her, but she was followed into CrownGate by Miss McCartney."
The 19-year-old from Marlow Road, Dines Green, yelled: "Oi. Have you seen Carl lately?"
She then warned: "Don't get doing it again. I know where you live and you know I can get it sorted."
Three days later, McCartney spotted her rival again in Worcester.
Miss Gunter added. "The defendant approached her and said: 'You're dead meat'.
"Further conversations went on and the girl and her friend went into a phone box.
"Miss McCartney was pulling faces and making comments like: 'Two bitches are us' and 'Who does she think she is - the fat midget'."
A month later, on Saturday, September 29, there was another spat.
"There was another exchange of words and some pushing and shoving," said Miss Gunter, who asked for McCartney to be bound over.
"The important thing to ensure in the future is that the peace is kept and the police aren't involved in sorting out this love triangle."
Juliet Simms, defending, said there had been conflict between the two for months.
"There's always two sides to the story," said Miss Simms.
"Both parties have been involved in exchanges of words.
"Miss McCartney herself has felt the need to call the police when she has been threatened by people who know the girl, or by the girl herself. There have been problems on both sides."
Jobless McCartney agreed to the bind-over and two charges of using threatening or abusive behaviour were withdrawn.
