BOTH Evesham's Jeremy Robinson and David Park of Hereford stayed in contention for healthy pay days after the second round of the Italian Open Golf Championship in Sardinia.
Robinson followed up his first round two under par 70 with a fine 68 to go to six under par and trail leader Gregory Havret of France by seven shots.
Park did even better. A first round par 72 left him in danger of failing to make the half-way cut, but the Burghill Valley member made no mistake with a superb five under par 67.
Sheffield's Mark Roe lies just one shot off the lead despite a second round he described as "a comedy of errors."
The 38-year-old managed just one par in his back nine as he added a 69 to his opening 63 for a 12-under-par half-way total at Is Molas, one behind Havret.
France's Jean Van de Velde was alongside Roe on 12 under after a brilliant 65 with Germany's Sven Struver two shots further back in fourth following his steady 68.
