MEN with a mission - that's Kidder-minster Harriers midfielders Dean Bennett and Paul Webb.

Bennett is desperate to play his part in helping cure Harriers frust-rating goalscoring problems while Webb is hoping to force his way into the side after a loan spell with Hereford United.

Bennett has yet to hit the target this season despite producing a number of eye-catching performan-ces in midfield.

He said: "I'm dying for a goal. I get reminded every day. The gaffer is always saying it's so many months and so many days since I last scored.

"In the stats I must have had 50 more shots than anyone else. When it comes I hope more will follow, but at the moment Danny Williams and I have yet to get off the mark in central midfield."

Webb is hoping determined to force his way into Kidderminster's first team after a successful two-month loan spell at Edgar Street.

He figured in more than a dozen games for the Bulls, but is now back at Aggborough and fitter than ever.

The 33-year-old said: "I never wanted to make the move permanent but I enjoyed it and it was nice to be getting competitive football again.

"You would have to ask others how well I did but I felt fitter every match. It's another step up to the Third Division though and ideally I want to force my way back in."

Meanwhile, Harriers have appoint-ed Ian Hipkiss as their new grounds-man. The 21-year-old takes over from Mick Young, who has left to take up a residential post managing a social club in north London.

Hipkiss, who starts his full-time position at Aggborough on November 26, is leaving his job as greenkeeper at Hagley Golf Club.
