AS another of the Moore Ede descendants (middle child of Oswald Moore Ede) I was delighted to read, via the internet, your article on the Moore Ede family.
This Moore Ede has fondest memories of my grandparents and, as a child, staying with them on Red Hill Lane.
I remember once arriving at Worcester by train (as a teenager) and waiting for my grandmother to pick me up.
When she arrived with a flourish, the stationmaster's eyes lit up and he said "You didn't tell me it was Mrs Moore Ede you were waiting for!"
I now live in Los Angeles, California and design costumes for television shows and films.

I WISH to thank all the people of Worcester for the kindness shown to my sister Kim and to the writer of "The Moore the merrier".
Ever since her trip to Worcester this year she has, on many occasions, mentioned the kindness shown to her.
She delights in the memory of the personal tour of Worcester Cathedral, seeing the "W Moore Ede" bell in the tower and the painting of our great-great grandfather that apparently no Moore Ede alive today knew about.
It brought me great joy and pride to know that my family's name is known there and to know the impact of my ancestry in Worcester.
The article detailing the Moore Ede's work in the church has been an education and an inspiration to me.
To everyone in Worcester- thank you.
