PEOPLE can learn how to make the most of furniture when a free furniture restoration and upholstery course is launched.
The furniture workshop is a new project created by the Oldington and Foley Park Community Network for Kidderminster people.
The community network will provide the premises, tools and materials with West Mercia Probation Service. Training in woodworking, furniture restoration and upholstery will be supplied by Kidderminster College.
"As well as providing accessible, community-based training the project will benefit the local community through the provision of affordable, good quality furniture," said a spokeswoman for Kidderminster College.
The workshop, launched on Tuesday, November 6, will be based at the Network Furniture Centre, Lisle Avenue, Kidderminster.
