I FIND Paul Griffith's letter (You Say, October 25) laughable. He stated that I am wrong in saying that the EU, the Lib Dems and Labour Party wants the UK split up into regions.
He immediately goes on to say the Lib Dems "advocate devolved regional government"!
If that isn't splitting the country asunder I don't know what is.
This is a typical "political way" of putting things so as to make it look respectable and acceptable.
Has Paul Griffiths not seen any EU maps? The word "England" does not even appear! England is shown only as "devolved regions" which are not wanted by the vast majority of people.
The government is trying to use the word region wherever possible so as to make it a vogue word and brainwash the electorate.
Besides being masters of "spin", they are trying to become masters of psychology.
