A WOMAN was injured when she was involved in an accident with a bus travelling in the bus lane on Worcester's Foregate Street.
The pedestrian suffered injuries to her head and arm when she was involved in the accident with the 144 First Midland Red service at 10.15am yesterday.
She was taken to the A&E at Worcester, but her injuries were not thought to be life threatening, a police spokeswoman said. The bus driver was treated for shock.
A spokesman for First Midland Red said the company had no further details and would carry out an investigation into what happened.
"Our first priority is for the welfare of the person who has been hurt and the employee involved," he said.
