THE 21st annual charity Christmas card stall in Malvern Library enjoyed a successful first week.
Tom Clapton, assistant manager of the stall run by Midland Charities Association, said: "We've done very well this first week. We've broken the record, doubling what we made on last year's first week.
"Last year we raised just over £26,000. We don't set a target but we hope to do better this year. In each of our 21 years we have improved and we hope it will be the same this year.
The stall will be at the library in Graham Road until the week before Christmas.
