A TOP two spot awaits Bromsgrove Rovers if they can defeat Cradley Town in the Midland Alliance tonight (7.45).
Steve Daniels' side, who edged out top six rivals Wednesfield at the weekend, could leapfrog Quorn if they beat struggling Cradley at the Victoria Ground.
Top scorer Sam Bowen notched the winner from the spot against Wednesfield but admitted they had faced a second half onslaught.
"It was a good result but the second half was back to the walls and we showed the discipline I've been looking for," he said.
"To be fair they are not a bad side and have drawn with the likes of Rushall and Stourbridge and beaten quite a few teams.
"But their pitch is not the greatest either so I was pleased to get through it.
"Tonight is another football match albeit one that can put us second if we win and it is as simple as that."
Daniels has plenty of striking options including Michael Moore and Stuart Payne but believes his policy of juggling team selection is managing to keep his large squad happy.
"What excites me is that on Saturday I looked on the bench and there was Moore, Kevin Banner and Gordon Lynch which shows you the strength of the squad," he said.
"Players are getting chances and know they are going to get a few games so at the moment most of them are quite happy."
