Concerning the aid on its way to Pakistan.
I would like to make two very brief points. First, luckily we live in a country where the majority of us are not about to die within the next few minutes for lack of clean drinking water.
To react so selfishly to the needs of those around the world only gives ammunition to those who would rather do nothing at home.
Second, our hospitals, roads, and other public services are only crumbling because the very same capitalists are busy waging war on innocent civilians in a different part of the globe to gain access to valuable oil and gas reserves.
The result of this is the under-funding in the public sector at home for the last 25 or so years.
