A TEENAGER has lost his licence after being caught driving a motorcycle without a valid one.
Ben Farlow was stopped by police after his machine swerved on to the wrong side of Martley Road and collided with a car, Droitwich Magistrates' Court was told.
He broke his leg in the acciden.
Farlow, aged 18, had a provisional driving licence for a motorcycle, but was not allowed to drive it unaccompanied or without L-plates.
His insurance was also void because he was driving a new motorcycle.
Farlow, of Eastbury Cottage, Lower Broadheath, near Worcester, admitted careless driving, driving other than in accordance with a driving licence; driving without insurance and also driving without an MOT certificate.
District judge Philip Browning fined him £50 for driving other than in accordance with his licence, £100 for driving without insurance, and ordered him to pay £35 costs.
He was also banned from driving for six months.
