NEW ideas to transform the town's historic Lido pool were due to be shared with residents last night.
Householders were invited to have their say on the multi-million pound revamp planned at the brine pool, off Worcester Road. Wychavon District Council wants to replace the facility with a hydro-health centre.
The authority has teamed up with Anglo-German company Calypso, which will develop the area if plans are approved.
At yesterday's public meeting, Calypso was due to reveal its ideas to the public for the first time and take questions.
The hydro-health centre is expected to have five indoor and outdoor pools with varying brine content, saunas, spas, a sunbathing terrace and restaurant.
Droitwich: Save our Lido Today (SALT) group was issuing leaflets to drum up support in preparation for the meeting at Droitwich Spa Community Centre, in Heritage Way.
