DOZENS of youngsters have switched on to our fantastic Christmas competition.
Your No.1 Newspaper and Droitwich Spa Association for Retail, Tourism and Services (DARTS) is seeking a special child to turn on the town's festive lights.
Crowds will gather in High Street on Saturday November 24 for the popular event - and our lucky winner will be the star of the night.
All children have to do is write, in no more than 30 words, which pantomime character they would like to be and why.
The boy or girl will also get the chance to dress up as their favourite character and receive a £10 cash prize.
More lights than ever before will be switched on this year because businesses and Wychavon District Council have paid hundreds of pounds to improve the electric circuits for displays.
Colman Road, Ombersley Street East, Victoria Square and Gurneys Lane can now shine brightly throughout Christmas.
Competition entrants must be aged between four and 12.
Return a completed entry form, which is in this week's paper on Page 9, to the Droitwich Spa Advertiser, 12a High Street, Droitwich Spa, WR9 8EW, by Wednesday November 14.
