Despite his disciplinary problems, Broughton is a first choice when fit and wins a lot of aerial challenges.
He started off at Norwich, scoring one goal in Division One, before a brief move to Brentford and then a switch to Peterborough with both clubs paying £100,000 for his services.
Loan spells at Conference outfits Stevenage and Dagenham brought goals last season and he continued in a similar vein at Harriers.
Is still fighting for full match fitness after pre-season injury and a proposed £70,000 move to Oxford fell through.
