THE score does not really reflect the nature of the game.
Telford scored very early in the first half from a short corner, but did not look like scoring a second goal as the defensive unit got to grips with the opposition.
Pat Ebbert, Pete Squire and outstanding player of the match Pete Mackie really shut out Telford.
The second half saw Telford attack constantly, but not get a shot on goal.
A break away saw a short corner given to Bromsgrove and Kevon Bennet's shot was stopped illegally on the line by a defenders foot.
Bennet went on to confidently convert the penalty flick. A draw would have been a fair result, but the Telford captain converted a short corner in the last two minutes.
Captain Alex Marginson said: "This was a much improved performance against this side, who are currently at the top of this DTZ league division.
"We are beginning to see real spirited and well thought out play, particular from our younger players, who now make up nearly half the Third XI squad."
