A CONTROVERSIAL plan to demolish a bungalow and build two new homes in a conservation area near Bromsgrove has been withdrawn.
The application for 2 Cherry Hill Road, in Barnt Green, promoted a host of objection letters from nearby householders who said there was no point having a conservation area if existing buildings were to be demolished, there was too much development in the narrow lane already and it would cause extra traffic.
At its meeting on Monday October 29, Bromsgrove District Council's planning committee was informed the application had been withdrawn.
