RESIDENTS in Dodford have been urged to keep their eyes peeled for speeding motorists following two incidents involving horses.
Writing in the monthly parish magazine, the village's Horsewatch co-ordinator, Phil Richardson, said he had been informed of the incidents in October which involved drivers travelling too fast and close to riders and horses being led.
Mr Richardson said: "When it was suggested they drive slower it resulted in further irresponsible driving and rude and abusive language. Having discussed this with police, I was informed this was not only a breach of the Highway Code but dangerous and socially unacceptable.
"I was requested to identify the perpetrators in future."
He urged people to note car registrations if there were any incidents.
