AS indicated by Mark Newton, I had a very amicable conversation with him concerning Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
I do indeed now see the point of view of the club and, health permitting, I hope to make some visits to New Road next season.
However, I have always tried to be sincere and I do, therefore, resent the aggressive tone of the recent letter from A Preece.
I am afraid I am too decrepit to attend football matches now. However, I used to go to see Worcester City, and was present at St George's Lane nearly 43 years ago when, on a bleak January afternoon, the City club experienced its finest hour. Mighty Liverpool were laid low. Was Mr Reece present on that famous occasion?
Mr Reece also refers to Villa Park. Sadly the great days of Aston Villa were in the 90s - the 1890s?
