DROITWICH were well beaten against Walsall Seconds on Saturday.
Walsall were very well drilled and combined powerful forward play with quick, attacking backs. From the start Walsall attacked in numbers, stretching the Droitwich defence to breaking point.
Droitwich's consolation tries came through prop Ian Williams and winger Jamie Faulkener.
Their most effective player was Number 8 Gareth Knight, whose covering and work rate prevented the score line from being even more embarrassing.
Spa's poor display can be put down to the fact that, with this being a friendly fixture, a number of regular first teamers were rested.
Many of the players worked hard and had a late night the previous evening ensuring the club's bonfire party was the success it was.
