Evesham 2, Old Silhillians 2
EVESHAM entertained the top of the league side in Saturday's DTZ West Midlands Premier match.
Evesham started the game slowly and couldn't string two passes together but goalkeeper Nicholas kept a strong Sils side at bay.
The introduction of veteran Lloyd changed the game and with his experience many chances were created.
Evesham exerted all the pressure but looked nervous when Sils counter attacked. This showed when they went 1-0 up.
Evesham kept their spirits high which had been missing since the start of the season and scored a well-deserved equaliser that was well executed by Wood.
The second half started in the same fashion with Sils scoring from the start after a slip from Sollis in a vital position.
Evesham rallied and had two goals disallowed but, two minutes from time, a through ball from Husbands to Bearcroft gave him a one on one which he took with both hands as he fired the ball into the roof of the net to give Evesham a richly deser-ved point.
