Bidford Ladies 5, Campden 1
CAPTAIN Sally Holmes gave an under strength visiting side the lead on the Big Meadow but Bidford were soon level through winger Faye Marchant.
The score remained tied until after the interval after which the home side took control.
Centre forward, Wendy Cooper, quickened Bidford's pace as the hosts attacked the Campden goal relentlessly.
Cooper couldn't be halted as she scored four goals to ensure an easy win for the hosts.
Birmingham University II 7, Shipston 0
THE visitors could only manage a bare 11 players, who arrived in high spirits but left with their tails between their legs.
It was always going to be hard against the young student side, who took the lead after five minutes. It was 2-0 ten minutes later but Shipston now strung together some good moves but failed to find the backboards.
Birmingham's confidence increased and they scored four more times before the break.
A change in formation stopped the flow of goals after the interval when Shipston came out stronger at the back. Commitment couldn't be faltered while youngsters Alison Payne, Kim Hill and Michelle Webb stayed focused in the face of stiff opposition.
Annie Lissington was named Shipston's player of the match.
Stratford II 5, Warwick University 1
STRATFORD proved too strong for the depleted students who, nevertheless, fought hard and had their chances.
Goals by Nicola Harvey and Janice Kersey were an accompaniment to a superb hat-trick by Vicky Seymour. Stratford worked better as a team and at times in the second half played with considerable skill and fluency.
Stratford III 10, Leamington II 0
A WEEK off from the league gave Stratford's third team the chance to home in on their shooting skills.
After a scrappy first five minutes Stratford started to take control of the game and their continued possession soon earned reward when Hannah Bladon struck home the first of a hat-trick.
Stratford now began to pass the ball around with a new-found confidence which often left the Leamington defence flatfooted and open. Continued pressure led to a further five first half goals.
The second half continued in a similar vein with Stratford showing their opposition how a passing game should be played with good ball pace and a previously unseen composure on the ball.
Player of the match, Vic Lee, ended the game with four goals, aided by strikes from Holly Outh-waite and a brace for Hayley Cole.
