ATHLETICS: Amazing Feet's Martin Proudler made his marathon comeback after a three-year break with a four hour 51 minute run at Harrow.
Proudler actually ran over 27 miles due to poor marshalling as he completed his 95th marathon.
Wayne Slater and Craig Freeman also ran despite doing the Snowdonia marathon seven days earlier.
Slater recorded a personal best of 3-48, while Freeman returned to sub four-hour timings with an excellent 3-51.
Other club members took part in the Cobra Classic 10km multi-terrain event at Halesowen, the 13th event in the Inter-Club Race League.
Eddie Sanders led the club home in 46 minutes 33 seconds to claim the 30 points.
Andy Norris finished in 54-51 to move into third as Chris Miles (46-52) moved up to fourth. Richard Baker slipped to fifth as he was unable to take part due to a back injury.
John Amos continued his 100 per cent record for the year with one hour 2-04 - a result that leaves him 69 points clear with just two races left.
In the ladies event, Irene Sanders (69-51) claimed first place with Nicola Beecroft (62-03) moving into second.
Long-term leader Ruth Miles missed another race to slip behind.
Other club finishers were Debbie Sault (56-40), Gordon Sims (1-0-07) and Heather Harrison (1-7-25).
