ANGLING: Rob Hart and Paul Wooddisse sailed away with both races in Trimpley's Saturday GP14 class competition.
They took the two events ahead of Ray Drury and Richard Turnock with Mike Stout the only Laser sailor.
Conditions at the weekend could not have been more different with calm, gentle breezes on Saturday and a strong gust for Sunday sailors.
On the latter, Roger Stretton beat Jeff Halford in the Noon Single Handed race for GP14s with Glen Caulwell retiring after a capsize.
Mark and Michelle Tromans cruised to a good win in the Autumn Noon series with Peter Moore and Jean Barrett second.
Tom and Simon Fletcher entertained the crowds with an elegant capsize.
In the main Frostbite Series, the first race was won by Halford and Dawn Bradley from a resurgent Fletcher boat by just 12 seconds.
Terry Bolton and Moore gave their crews an early shower after capsizing in a strengthening wind.
The second race of the series went to the Fletcher team with John Hingley and Ian Bradley second.
In the Laser class races, Eddy Hillman took all three races .
Tom Jeffs was second in the noon race but retired in the later race.
In the final Laser contest, Alison Young came second in her new rig to Hillman by only 12 seconds.
