MATURE students of an art tuition group will have their work showcased in a public display next month.
Stourport Library will stage the exhibition of paintings and drawings by 14 members of the Wednesday Painters, who meet at Shrawley Village Hall each week.
They are taught by artist, Molly Dowell, of Areley Kings, who was inundated with inquiries following the publication of a Forest Folk profile of her in the Shuttle/Times & News earlier this year.
Due to demand, she decided to run another class, attended by nine new students, on Thursdays.
The new classes are also in the village hall at Shrawley.
The Wednesday group's exhibition will be opened by Wyre Forest MP, Dr Richard Taylor, on Saturday, December 1.
His wife, Chris, has been a member of the Wednesday Painters for six years.
Her work will feature in the exhibition which runs until Friday, December 7.
