AFTER reading recent newspaper reports, I feel I must write and say how pleased I am for Harold Musgrove, chairman of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.
At last he has made a decision which the vast majority of people in Wyre Forest and the surrounding areas wholeheartedly support - namely, his retirement.
Sadly, for many, it has been a long time coming.
Now Mr Musgrove has indicated his departure, we can only hope that his replacement will not mirror his views, but instead take more of a back seat and allow the health professionals to get on with restoring the health service in our area to its former high quality, which the long-suffering population so justly deserves.
