BEWDLEY Town were dumped out of the JW Hunt Cup 7-1 by Midland Combination Division One side Blackheath Invensys.
The West Midland Division One team began brightly but slack marking for the first goal and hesitation for the second allowed Blackheath to take an early 2-0 lead.
The visitors struck back with a Grant Gibbs tap-in before the break.
The second half saw one of Bewdley's worst performances for some years as Blackheath scored five goals with relative ease, mainly due to bad errors by their visitors.
Fixtures, Saturday: Great Wyrley v Bewdley Town (League Cup, kick-off 2pm, players to meet at Wagon and Horses 11.45am).
Squad: Harvey, Hough, Ford, Harris, Middleton, Hardiman, Hyde, Field, Turford, Gibbs, Bow, Hathaway, Stewart, Taylor, Osbourne, Lawley, McCloughlan, Allsopp, Bennett, Hopkins.
