MALVERN Rugby Club travel to bottom club Camp Hill on Saturday for what could be an early relegation 'four-pointer' in Midlands One.
The Spring Lane side have endured a torrid time since their promotion to Midlands' top league, having won just one game. However, they will be confident of victory in Solihull after Camp Hill's sorry start to the season.
Key player Dave Merlin is absent again but the club are hoping this will be the last match he misses after completion of his physiotherapy studies.
In Midlands Two (West), Bromsgrove hope to continue their fine form this season when they travel to Derby. Bromsgrove lead the table by two points after six wins from six games and tackle a mid-table Derby side.
One of the eye-catching fixtures of the weekend sees Droitwich travel to Ledbury for a potentially bruising Midlands Four West (South) encounter. The visitors make a number of changes with Adrian Spencer moving from prop to hooker in place of the injured Phil Hobbs, Will Kirton returns to the loosehead side, with Paul Bowditch on the other.
Tony Way is expected to play despite a re-occurrence of his calf injury.
In the backs Lee Mortlock makes his first league start after some solid displays in friendlies. A big blow for Droitwich, however, is the injury to fly-half Simon Mountjoy.
Matthew Blackmore deputises in that position, with Sascha Hobbs and Nick King playing in the centre. Rob McClean has recovered from his finger injury to take his place on the right wing.
