A NEW community centre and sports hall is on the cards for Kidderminster Harriers.
The club has submitted plans for the scheme next to the its Aggborough home in Hoo Road.
Harriers chairman Lionel Newton revealed the plan as part of a three-year corporate plan aimed at boosting the club's profile on and off the pitch.
The plan for the centre, on the site of a disused building, could go before Wyre Forest District Council's planning (development control) committee next month - but would not be built for "three or four years".
Mr Newton said the priority was to get the new stand built and the centre would have to be funded entirely from grants and sponsorship.
It would have facilities for sports such as five-a-side football and badminton and be available for use by the community.
