SUFFERERS of Parkinson's disease are being urged to contact a Redditch support group which only has 30 members compared to the 120 national average.
Redditch Parkinson's Disease Society meets on the second Tuesday of every month and it is a chance for sufferers to meet, discuss problems and share information.
The progressive disease is a disorder of the nervous system and affects co-ordination and many sufferers experience tremors and movement difficulties.
Honorary secretary Peter Shillingham said: "We know of only 30 sufferers in Redditch and we want to make sure people know we exist.
"We can offer advice and information and put people in touch with welfare visitors."
