A WIDE variety of music from the big screen through the ages will be performed by 40 youngsters in Kidderminster next week.
Kidderminster Operatic and Dramatic Society's Youth Section have announced this year's production will be KODYS Goes To The Movies, featuring music from films including the classic Casablanca and the decadent musical Hair. Natasha Bragg, Jack Ludwig and Katrina Bragg prepare for the forthcoming production KODYS Goes To The Movies.
The production team - Cheryl Skidmore, Trudy Hackett and Jackie Rutland - put the programme together after obtaining music "from many sources".
"When we embarked upon this project we did not realise what a wide choice of music we would have and how difficult it would be without a musical director," Cheryl said.
The production's three-night run at Harry Cheshire High School starts on Thursday, November 15 at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available by calling 01562 638864.
