THE AGM was held on October 24 with WI adviser Joan Ellis present.
Brenda Dainty agreed to continue as president.
Joan talked about WI House in Worcester, a listed 19th century building, and of the changes presently being made there.
She encouraged members to visit when the refurbishment is complete.
Members were reminded of the bingo evening to be held at Shawhurst Community Centre on November 8 and the craft fair at Wythall Institute on November 17.
At the next meeting on November 28 at 2pm, Tony Bradshaw will give a slide show and talk entitled Exploring the Lake District. Visitors welcome.
