A MOVING exploration of love, loneliness, betrayal and redemption is presented at the Palace Theatre on Saturday, when Vienna Festival Ballet performs Swan Lake.
It tells the tale of an evil curse being lifted which turns a flock of swans into a bevy of beautiful maidens, led by queen Odette.
A lonely prince witnesses the transformation and falls in love with Odette but she and the maidens can only be released from their swan-like forms when a man swears his undying love for her.
It starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £13.50 or £11.50 (disc rate) from the box office on 65203.
