ON Sunday, November 25 beginning at 2pm, Tewkesbury will be turning on the Christmas lights. Berrow/Pendock PCC have used this occasion to launch much needed fundraising for the day to day running of the parish churches, to this end they have purchased a table and facilities to sell Christmas goodies and decorations, these include jams, pickles, chutneys, marmalades, mincemeat, Christmas puds, sweets, decorations etc.
We desperately need goods to sell on our stall. If you have a talent for making sweets, fudge or novelties now matter how small (or big) we would love to hear from you. Our success depends on your support and custom. (I hear Father Christmas will be arriving about 4pm). They will also be selling raffle tickets during the afternoon. This is for a grand draw that will take place on Friday, December 14 (details later) first prize dinner for two at Corse Lawn House Hotel.
Phone Rosemary Philipson Stow on 01684 833537 if you need more details or if you would like to help in any way.
