WELLINGTON Heath Memorial Hall will be running the autumn fair in St Katharine's Hall on Saturday, November 10 from 9.30am to 11.30am. There will be a variety of stalls and a raffle. The entrance fee will be only 20p. Please try and support this event, it will be raising much needed funds for the new hall. If anyone would like to help on the stalls, contact Mr Neville Shorrick or any members of the Hall Committee (phone numbers are in the Village Newsletter) or just turn up, early, on the day, the committee will be delighted for your help.
On Sunday, November 11 there will be a Dedication Service in the new Memorial Hall starting at 10.30am. This will be followed by a Service of Remembrance to remember those residents who were killed in two World Wars. Everyone is very welcome to attend. It would be lovely to see the hall full for this very special time.
The new Memorial Hall will be officially opened at 3pm on Saturday, November 17. Bernadette Kearney will officially open the hall and the ribbon will be cut by Nancy Davies. Refreshments will be available. All residents are welcome.
The Memorial Hall Committee will then be looking for new ideas for using the new hall. At the official opening there will be details of the clubs and societies, which have already been planned, but there is always room for new ones. Come on November 17 and have a look at what is going on in your village. Your support is vital.
