NEIL Culley, vice-chairman of Upton Tourism and Trade Association, officially tendered his resignation at a meeting of its executive committee on Monday night (November 5).
In a letter to the committee, Mr Culley cited the fact that he had too many other commitments on Monday nights as the reason behind his decision.
"I did not want to be part of the committee if I could not give the commitment I have in the past," he told the Malvern Gazette.
It is not clear whether the post of vice-chairman will be officially filled but Anne Manning has offered to chair meetings when chairman Bill Dovey is unable to attend.
