VANDALS have ripped a water system off the wall after breaking into the pavilion beside the football pitches at Sling Lane.
The damage was discovered by a member of the public walking his dog last Thursday.
"Water seeped out onto the grass surrounding the building," said Linda Stone, of Malvern Town Council.
"The incident was not reported to the police, as the council will not be making an insurance claim.
"However, it will be included in our next vandalism report, which will be handed to the police.
"The town council will discuss how best to go about repairing the damage with Malvern Hills District Council.
"In the meantime, the district council has agreed to board up the window to prevent anyone else getting in to the building."
Miss Stone said the council had also been informed that fireworks were being let off by youths at Dukes Meadow in the run-up to Bonfire Night, although no damage to persons or property had been reported.
MHDC currently owns the Sling Lane site, but the town council is running it.
