AN Ofsted report on Poolbrook School in Malvern will be discussed by the Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) on Monday.
The school was given poor ratings in aspects of its teaching and practice by Ofsted after an inspection in May this year, which found it to be "unsatisfactory".
The report stated that "standards in English, mathematics, science, information and communication technology, and most other subjects" all needed improvement.
Of particular interest to the council are the report's findings that despite provision for pupils' spiritual development remaining satisfactory overall, the school has not identified ways to promote spiritual development through the curriculum.
It also says that it no longer makes satisfactory provision for pupils' moral or social development and adds that provision for pupils' cultural development remains unsatisfactory.
SACRE is comprised of representatives from the Roman Catholic, Protestant, and other faiths, as well as those from teaching and Worcestershire County Council, as the education authority,
