SATURDAY'S annual fireworks spectacular at the Three Counties Showground went off with a bang, attracting some 7,000 visitors.
The main attraction came a little after 8pm when £8,000 worth of fireworks took 20 minutes to light up the sky during a display masterminded by Herefordshire-based experts Dragonfire.
High bursts of colour and dancing lights erupted in time to a pre-recorded soundtrack including Queen's We Will Rock You, the Verve's Bittersweet Symphony and a variety of movie theme tunes. The 1812 Overture provided a spectacular finale.
