MARK Blake has recovered from a hip injury in time to play for Kidderminster Harriers' Nationwide League Division Three clash against Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road tomorrow (3pm).

The experienced midfielder resumed training yesterday after picking up the injury in last week's 2-0 home victory over Bristol Rovers.

"It's a massive bonus having Blake available. He's a real man in the middle of the park and he's obviously a big part of the way that we are playing at the moment, so we are delighted he's fit," said Aggborough boss Jan Molby.

Defender Adie Smith, who has been troubled by a groin injury, played for the reserves in their midweek 4-2 Avon Insurance League Division Two win over Chesterfield without any adverse effects.

He is set for a place on the substitutes' bench with Molby expected to name an unchanged line-up.

The only current casualty is defender Lee Ayres who is on the comeback trail after suffering a badly broken toe in Harriers' match at Hull City in August. He has now resumed full training and stepping up his bid for match fitness.

For striker Colin Larkin it will be his last appearance in a two-month loan spell from Wolves, although Harriers are making moves to keep the 19-year-old at Aggborough for a further period.

Molby, meanwhile, is warning his players to be on their guard against Orient midfielder Jeff Minton tomorrow.

"It was a real scoop when they signed him signed him from Rotherham during the summer," said the Harriers boss.

"He's a ball playing midfield player and I think he's better than most Third Division players. He'll be a real handful for us."

Molby, however, is confident that Kidderminster can build on their recent improvement in performances.

He said: "We still look at our away column in the table and it doesn't make pleasant reading -- one win, one draw and six defeats -- so that's where we have to improve.

"It will be a difficult match for us, but we did well against them on two occasions last season and we'll go there obviously full of confidence after our 2-0 win over Bristol Rovers.

"We'll try and take the game to them. In their last home match they were excellent and beat Rochdale 4-2 but then went to Scunthorpe on Saturday and got beaten 4-1. So they are possibly like we have been, a little bit inconsistent.

"It will be a tough game, though, but it's one we have got to fancy that we can win."

Kidderminster: Brock, Clarkson, Hinton, Sall, Stamps, Williams, Bennett, Blake, Foster, Broughton, Larkin. Subs: Murphy, Smith, Shilton, Bird, Hadley.

FORMCAST: Improving Harriers will gain a 1-1 draw.
